About Manakha Urban Project Development Co.
It is located in the southwestern side of the central area of the Prophet’s Holy Campus; i.e. it is a project to develop the area of historical squares, markets and mosques, and to establish hotel towers (H2 + H3 + H4 + H5) consisting of more than (1,367 rooms) established on a plot with a total area of up to (35,095) square meters, with the highest standards of quality and high engineering design in accordance with the international engineering standards and under the supervision of Al Madinah Region Development Authority.
Hence, Al-Manakha Urban Project Development Company has been selected to be its launch to build an urban and developmental project for the development of the historical area of Al-Manakha, which adjoins and overlooks the square of the Prophet’s Mosque, which contains historical mosques (Al-Ghamama Mosque, Abu Bakr Mosque, Omar Mosque, Ali Mosque) (may Allah be pleased with them and make them happy), as it preserved the heritage identity of these mosques and the ancient history of the land of Al-Manakha, and the events it witnessed over time, as it was keen to preserve the identity, restore the mosques and support their furniture to last over time, as well as developing of the area of popular squares and markets, adding squares as an outlet for the visitors and the people of the city, and they contain pedestrian paths, guiding boards, commercial spatulas, and an open market, taking into account the use of the best materials of high quality, such as lighting, tents, and floors.
The company contracted with the global HOK office to design the project, and due to the project’s need to contract with a specialized local consulting company to follow up and prepare designs and engineering supervision, it contracted with the Architectural Design House Company.
In the field of the economic feasibility study, a number of expert houses and specialized companies have been invited to assist in preparing an economic feasibility study for the project. In light of that, KPMG, Colliers International, and Swicorp Company submitted feasibility studies for the project.
The Main Contractor of the project is Al-Khereiji Trading and Contracting Company, and the Drilling Contractor is Al Turbah Al-Arabiya Company.
